Tar: Payam Jahanmani

"Kanane" (meaning old, ancient) in Payam Jahanmani's Talent testing in more recognized frames which distinguishes it from his previous works, "encounter" (Didar) and specially "Liberated" (Raha) whose name may associate an experience with a completely personal expression, and a start for being liberated from the usual obligations and bonds in Iranian music. In "kanane", Payam Jahanmani, different from his previous works, shows more faithfulness to the melody models of the canonic repertory of the Iranian music, the radif, although, even here, his personal signature and his style of art expression is obvious.
The early plans of this work, were presented in concerts given in May (2007) ( Bayat-e Tork) and in December of the same year (segah) in Niavaran Art Center.
