This collection includes 12 pishdaramads and rengs from the book intermediate course of tar and setar by Hossein Alizadeh, which are arranged by Mina Oftade and played by Sadaf Amini. Sadaf Amini began learning santur when she was 12 under Sa'id Sabet. In music
conservatory she studied santur under Mina Oftade and then under Siamak aqayi, and now she is studying music in Tehran University under Majid Kiani, Khosrow Molana,Sasan Fatemi and Human Asadi. She has collaborated in some music albums and concerts and has achieved first prize in different festivals. By playing these pieces the students will be acquainted with the form of pishdaramad and reng which are two important forms of Iranian traditional music that help understanding the dastgahs, avazes and relative gushes.
