The present collection entails pieces of Azerbaijani music repertoire collected and performed by Vahid Asadillahi, himself a naqqareh-player. The tracks have been played and recorded in different occasions and with the participation of numerous musicians and ensembles. During his artistic tour to Baku, Vahid Asadollahi was benefited to work with some of the most eminent Azerbaijani musicians, namely Khan Nar Jafarov and Zaker Mirzaev, and also with Umid Ensemble. The piece entitled as Hejran was recorded in 1994 during a tour of Germany featuring Rahman Asadollahi, the renowned garmon-player. The first track of this collection is recorded by Sahand Azerbaijani Orchestra headed by Rashid Vatandust and conducted by Farhad Farajli. Solo naqqareh pieces are all recorded in Iran.
